Rosie Lawson


Having started ballet at age 2 Rosie was trained under Maud Tranter. After Miss Tranter’s passing Rosie moved her training to Saxon Winships and began studying ballet and tap, in addition to contemporary and street.
Performing with the Northern Youth Dance Company twice and completing examinations in ballet, Rosie’s passion for dance grew.
Attending Furness college from the age 16-18, Rosie achieved a BTEC National Diploma in Performing Arts with a Triple Distinction which gained her an achievement scholarship to Middlesex University.
Rosie completed a BA (Hons) Dance Performance and graduated in 2010 with a 2:1.
She then went on to follow an additional passion and spent her post-graduate year at London School of Sports Massage gaining BTEC Level 5 Diploma in Soft Tissue Therapy.
Over the years Rosie has taught in multiple schools in Cumbria and in North London, and has over 15 years of teaching experience.
Since founding FSA Rosie has completed her :
  • Acrobatic Arts Module 1 training
  • Alixa Flexibility Module 1 & 2
  • Progressing Ballet Technique Teacher training
  • IDTA Level 4 Diploma in Ballet (Distinction)
  • iD-Company Street Dance Teacher training
  • Most recently Rosie has been accepted into the prestigious Royal Academy of Dance, to study for her Masters in Education (Dance Teaching)
Rosie’s main passion is choreography and loves teaching contemporary, commercial and acro.
